As our time continues to slip

As everything fades away

Will we remember what we have done

What we wished we would’ve done a different way

As time slips by I sit and reminisce

While trying to find solace and eternal bliss

As time fades away I must say

That I wish I would’ve enjoyed each and every day

Before it all ended

Before it all slipped away

Before the clock stopped

And we go to the grave

Just because you’re breathing doesn’t mean your alive

As time passes by

I just wish

I wouldn’t have let it end like this

How could I know

I would outgrow

Something I used to know as home

Everything happens for a reason

Here is the start

But when does it end

As I come to grips with all this shit

No tear drops drip, I’m unable to cry

But I’m ripped, Torn to shreds

The parts that die, deep inside.

Blessed with this life,

My place on this earth

Blessed with the opportunity

To have ever been alive

Blessed to get, The chance to pick

What keeps me going, What makes me tick

To look and find and then define

What I chose to do

With my time

Eternal sacred

Infinite divine

Expanding beauty

Fully aligned

Not an empty pit

Of pain and shit

That has become

What I am inside

So let’s try again to turn back the clock

And let’s reassess

Let’s try again as if it was our last wish
