And I question if I can trust my heart

Disappears the days

It slowly pulls me deeper

A lifetime, a chessmatch

It’s all worth the change

Divine timing was so strange

A different chapter

A new page

A lifetime ago I couldn’t go near you

And now you’re sleeping next to me

Exchange as an even trade

Tried to find a reason why this wouldnt work

Only because we’ve both been broken

Scared of the space between us

Scared to close the distance in between

But I question if I really know myself
